About Dr. Matthew Harding

“The Lord called Jennifer and me to prayerfully consider starting a new church plant in 2014 as I was on staff at Rockpointe Church in Flower Mound. The Lord in His grace called us and ten families to begin a new gospel work in the Argyle/Northlake area of DFW. In August 2015, we launched the church officially from Argyle High School and have loved serving this area of North Texas the last eight years as a community church. It has been the greatest privilege of my life to serve as the Senior Pastor of the WELL.

Raised in Knoxville, TN and saved in France (yes, you read that correctly) when I was 16, the Lord got a hold of my life early and set me on a path of missions, college (university ministry), and now church planting and pastoring these past 30 years of full-time ministry. We have loved traveling the world on mission trips (67 countries so far) sharing Christ’s love through the gospel and now settling down in a new church work at the WELL where we want to be a church on mission reaching our community, our nation, and the world with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Jennifer (from Arkansas) and I have been married 29 years, we have two children: Daughter, Sarai and her husband Michael Smith and our first granddaughter (Sutton Leigh) who live near us; and a son, Jon and his wife Danielle who live in Huntsville and is a University Pastor. We also have three hairless American Terriers (yes, you read that right too). My sweet bride is very allergic to everything, so we love our three “naked” dogs.  Jenn and I love to travel, the mountains of East TN, collegiate football, and now . . . our first grandchild.

I can’t wait to meet you and to learn how I can serve you and your family.

PRESS ON for the Lord’s glory!
