Generations Big Giving Weekend

November 7 & 8

Join us for a special Giving Weekend as our church family brings their first and best gifts toward their Generations commitments. Together, we’ll give faithfully and joyfully as we invest in the future of The Well and what God is doing through Generations.

Join us as we come together to make a lasting impact! On November 20–21, we'll pack 51,480 meals for children facing hunger. Whether you serve on Friday from 6:30–9:00 PM or Saturday from 9:00–11:30 AM, you'll help put meals into the hands and hope into the hearts of those who need them most.

We're looking for 350 volunteers to make this event possible. Sign up today and be part of what God can do through serving together!

Share the love of Christ with a child in need through Operation Christmas Child! Fill a shoebox with toys, school supplies, and personal care items to bless a child around the world with a tangible expression of God's love. For many children, this will be the first gift they've ever received.

Stop by the table in the lobby to pick up a shoebox and packing instructions. Filled shoeboxes can be returned at any service October 31–November 22. Together, let's bring joy, hope, and the message of the Gospel to children around the world.

Help bring Christmas joy to local families through the UP Ministry Angel Tree! Visit the Angel Tree table every Saturday and Sunday in November, select a gift tag, and return your unwrapped gift to the collection area in the lobby. Together, we can provide clothing, shoes, toys, and necessities to at-risk children and their families this holiday season.

Mommy & Me

Fun for the babies and fellowship for the moms. If you are a mom of babies, toddlers, and preschool aged kids , please come and join us for our Mommy and Me Storytime! Enjoy community with other moms while your kids play at rotation stations and learn about Jesus! Elementary kids are welcome to join too!

Join the women of The Well for Love in Action! We’ll start in the foyer with coffee and bagels, hear from representatives of Refuge for Women, Clear Creek Women’s Center, and Freedom House. Then we will enjoy an encouraging devotional from Chris. At 10:30 AM, we’ll carpool to Twice as Nice Resale in Denton to serve wherever help is needed, including sorting, cleaning, and organizing.

Community Trunk or Treat

Join The Well as we serve at Argyle's annual Community Trunk or Treat! Hosted by the Town of Argyle and the Argyle Police Department, this family-friendly event features candy, bounce houses, foam cannons, local vendor trunks, and more. Families! Is your elementary child asking more questions about Jesus/salvation? Or expressing interest in being baptized? Faith Steps is the class for you! Come join us upstairs after the 11 am service (class will be from 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm) for cheese pizza and a fun way to learn about salvation, baptism, and what it looks like for your kids to share their testimonies!

‍We would like at least 1 guardian to attend with your elementary child during the class. Pizza is provided for those who register.

Men's Fly-Fishing Retreat

November 12–15 | Broken Bow | Cost: $375 per person | Men 18+

Escape to the river for a few days of fly fishing, great food, meaningful Bible studies, and time to unwind with other men. We'll be staying in a spacious cabin right on the river, with all meals provided—just bring your gear and enjoy the adventure.

Legacy Ministry invites you to Friday Night Lights, a once-a-trimester Friday gathering designed for food, fellowship, and fun. Each night is creatively planned by a Legacy Community Group, so no two events are the same.

Join us for a fun evening and partner with Kings Church as we host their college ministry students from UNT and TWU for a night of living legacies with future generations.  We will hear how God is working in young and senior adults in the Argyle and surrounding university areas.

Join us for a fun evening/morning of Mahjong in the church foyer! This gathering is for women who already know how to play and want to enjoy some friendly competition, connection, and community.

Tables will be available for different levels of play, so you can find a group that fits your experience and enjoy a game at your pace. Bring a friend, grab your tiles, and come spend the morning connecting with other women!

Our hope is that this gathering would create an easy space for women to build relationships, encourage one another, and experience the hope of the gospel.

GriefShare is a 13-week support group for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. Beginning August 17, 2026, we’ll meet every Monday from 6:30–8:30 p.m. in Room 8 at The Well through November 16. This biblical, video-based program provides practical guidance, emotional support, and a caring community. A free meal is included each week.

Freedom Groups: A 13-Week Journey Toward Gospel-Centered Transformation

Freedom Groups is a 13-week small-group experience designed to help you understand the deeper roots of struggles and learn how the gospel brings real freedom and transformation. Together we will walk through Scripture, explore the ways our hearts often chase things like control, approval, comfort, or security, and learn how to apply the finished work of Christ to every part of our story. This isn’t about behavior modification or trying harder. It’s about learning to live in the freedom Jesus has already won for us through His life, death, and resurrection.

We dive into Scripture using the Promise Principle method, aligning with the Sunday sermons (80%+ of the time) to explore God’s Word in a deeper, more personal way. Expect real conversations, personal reflection, and Holy Spirit-led insights—plus plenty of bad dad jokes to keep you awake! What is the Promise Principle? “By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.” This method helps us identify God’s promises in Scripture, apply them to our lives, and grow in our faith. Fall Mission Trip: France

November 11–19, 2026

Join us this November for a unique opportunity to serve and share the love of Christ in France.

The first half of the trip will be spent in the mountains, serving Muslim children at a camp by helping with cooking and cleanup. The second half will take place in the city, where we’ll prayer walk and support a local church through outreach and flyer distribution.

Open to high schoolers and up | Whether you feel called to go or simply want to explore what missions could look like for you, this is a powerful opportunity to step out in faith and be part of what God is doing globally.

Young Adults Mission Trip: Holland | March 6–14, 2027 | Ages 18-29

Young adults, consider joining us for a mission trip to Holland! Michael Smith, DEVO leader, will lead the team as we partner with missionaries from The Well to serve and share the Gospel.
