Our Mission

At The Well, we are committed to obeying Christ's call to make disciples of all nations. Our vision for missions goes beyond just sending teams overseas—we actively support church planting, disciple-making efforts, and kingdom work in the least-reached areas of the world.

Why Missions?

In Matthew 28:18-20, before ascending to heaven, Jesus gave His disciples one simple command: make disciples of all nations. This command wasn’t just for a select few; it’s for the whole church, for every believer. While missions may seem like a specialized calling, it's actually the central mission of the church.

A Global MISSION

God’s heart has always been for the nations—from Genesis to Revelation, He has revealed His desire for all people to know Him (see Genesis 22:15, Matthew 24:14, Revelation 7:9). Missions isn’t just about going far away, but also about reaching those near to us. We don’t see missions as an “either-or” approach (local OR global); rather, it’s about “here AND there”—doing both with intentionality.

Frequently ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the heart behind the Missions Ministry at The Well?

We exist to make disciples of all nations, obeying Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:18-20. This mission includes sending, praying, giving, and going—with the goal of seeing God’s glory spread to every people group on earth.

Do I have to go overseas to participate in missions?

Not at all! While some are called to go, every believer is called to participate. You can:

  • Pray for missionaries and nations
  • Give financially to support global partners
  • Send and support those who are going
  • Serve locally with a global mindset

📖 Romans 10:14-15 reminds us that we all have a role to play in God’s global plan
