Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, who came to earth to reveal God’s character and redeem humanity. He is the promised Messiah, the Savior of the world, who lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead, conquering sin and death. Through Him, we experience forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and the gift of eternal life. Jesus is our Lord, Redeemer, and ultimate example of love, humility, and obedience to God.
What is the Gospel?
The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ. It proclaims that God, in His great love, sent His Son to rescue us from our sin and its consequences. Through Jesus’ death on the cross, He paid the penalty for sin that we could never pay ourselves. His resurrection demonstrates His victory over sin and death, offering us new life through faith in Him. The gospel calls us to repent, believe, and embrace the gift of salvation, living as transformed disciples who share this hope with the world.
What does it mean to walk with Jesus?
Walking with Jesus means living in a daily, personal relationship with Him. It is a journey of faith, where we trust in His guidance, depend on His power, and grow in our love and obedience to God. Walking with Jesus involves being transformed by His Word, seeking His presence through prayer, and following His example of serving and loving others. It is an ongoing commitment to discipleship, where we embrace the power of the Holy Spirit to shape us into His likeness and participate in His mission to bring His light to the world.
