Who We Are

Our NAME

At The Well Community Church, our name is inspired by Jesus’ promise in John 4:14:

"Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst, and the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."

Our STORY

Where we started

In 2015, The Well began as a small gathering of ten families from RockPointe Church in Flower Mound, TX. From the beginning, our vision was to be a Bible-teaching, disciple-making church, with a particular focus on reaching men, strengthening families, and restoring broken marriages. Our foundation was built on intentional discipleship and the shared commitment to be a light for Christ in our community.

How we've grown

Over the years, The Well has become a thriving family church—a growing community passionate about walking alongside one another in faith and witnessing lives transformed by Jesus. Today, we actively impact North Texas through discipleship, caring ministries, local outreach, and church planting. With God’s faithfulness, we’ve been blessed to expand, and are currently preparing to add a fourth service on Saturday evenings to meet the growing need in our community.

Where we're going

As disciples of Jesus, our vision is to be a beacon of God’s activity and mission, from Argyle to the ends of the earth. We are praying for God to raise up leaders within our congregation who have a heart for local church planting, furthering our reach with the gospel. We strive to join God in transforming lives, one step of faith at a time, and to bring His glory to the world by continuing to build a loving, disciple-making church that answers the call of the Great Commission.

Our Foundational Beliefs

What WE BELIEVE IN

The Bible

The Holy Bible is true, authoritative, and sufficient for guiding humanity, the Church, and the world toward eternal good. It reveals God and instructs us in loving, worshiping, and serving Him.

God

There is one true God, the Creator, existing eternally in three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This reality is known as the Trinity.

Creation and Sin

Everything exists for God's glory, and humans were created for a relationship with Him. However, through Adam's sin, all humanity inherited a sinful nature that separates us from a holy God.

The Consequence of Sin

Sin separates us from God's perfect presence, leading to physical and spiritual death, which affects every aspect of humanity.

Salvation Through Christ

God sent His Son, Jesus, to rescue humanity. Born of a virgin, Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose again to offer salvation to all who trust in Him.
