At The Well, we believe families are a gift from God and a reflection of His love and care for His people. Our desire is to come alongside families with the hope of the gospel—encouraging them, supporting them, and helping them grow in Christ-centered relationships.

We understand that family life is both beautiful and challenging. That’s why we are committed to creating opportunities for families to:

We want to walk alongside you as you navigate parenting, marriage, and life’s challenges, providing a space where you feel known and loved.

Family Camp Out at Lake Ray Roberts - November 21–22

‍Pack your tent, camper, or RV and join us for a weekend of family fun, fellowship, and campfire connection at Lake Ray Roberts! We’ve reserved campsites for families from The Well to come together, relax in nature, and enjoy time with other families in our church community.

Families can arrive and begin setting up anytime after 5:00 p.m. on Friday. You’re welcome to stay one or both nights—whatever fits your family best! We’ll bring snacks, food, and a few camping games, but feel free to bring your own meals, drinks, and favorite campsite activities. Restrooms and showers are conveniently located nearby.

The cost is $14 per person, paid at the entrance to the campground.Spots are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis—so be sure to register soon!

Registration closes November 17.

Family Outdoors Day

Join us for Family Outdoors Day at The Well on May 23, 2026 from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM! Our Outdoor Ministry is hosting a fun-filled day for all ages with fishing, kid-friendly archery, fly fishing lessons, target shooting, cornhole, snow cones, burgers, and plenty of fellowship.

Whether you're an experienced outdoorsman or just looking for a great way to connect with other families, there’s something for everyone. Burgers and snow cones are provided—just bring your family and come ready for a great time together! If you have your own fishing or outdoor gear, feel free to bring it along.

Registration is required, so please be sure to sign up. We can’t wait to see you there!

Family Water Park Day at Hawaiian Falls

June 26 | 12 PM - 7 PM | Hawaiian Falls, Roanoke | $10 per person

We’re inviting all people of the church, along with your families, neighbors, friends, and coworkers, to join us for a fun day at Hawaiian Falls in Roanoke.

This is a great opportunity to connect, relax, and enjoy time together as a church family outside of Sunday morning. Bring anyone you’d like—this is an open invite for The Well and your extended community.

Come ready for a day of fun in the sun—we’d love to see you there.
Drinks will be provided - Meals & Snacks are on each family/attendee

Opportunities to connect

Our family connection events are designed to foster real relationships and moments of joy. From enjoying food trucks in the fall to celebrating together at the Fall Festival, these events are ways for families to create lasting memories.
